Life , so unpredictable.

Not too long ago one of my friend was diagnosed with leukemia. I was devastated when I heard about it. He is only 17 and yet he had to suffer like this.

This made me realised how life can be so unpredictable. One moment you can be that happy & healthy person and before you know it, you're down with this sickness that cannot be cured. I mean, it could happen to anyone of us. It's just so scary even to think about it. Of course I cried and all, but mum told me there is not much I could do. No point crying for him but I could pray for him. I took mum's advice and prayed for him. The doctor said he didn't have long to live, but we all refused to believe so.

Now, he's recovering and is doing very well. He can even jump, or so he says. Now I understand why they say nothing is impossible for God and also how powerful prayers can be. Amen! I believe that it was a miracle.

I'm so glad I learnt something from all this. Always keep an eagle eye out. You might not know you might just learn a valuable lesson the next moment. *winks*

Freak.

When I promised myself that I would go to Singapore and buy back loads of candy, I didn't expect to buy 33 tubes of Fruitips. NEVER. Even my mum scolded me for buying so many. I'm a candy & chocolate freak. I'm all over them. I really can't live without them.

Yes peeps, I'm back from singapore! It was a great trip overall [and I got to walk on Orchard alone yesterday!] and besides the great shopping, it was also a good oppourtunity to bond with my cousin which I have not spoken to for almost half a year now. So glad to be back too!!

I finally went shopping today. Oh what joy I experienced. I actually do miss people back in Malaysia already. Can't wait to go home tomorrow.

Bought LOADS of fruitips. 33 in total. Call me crazy. I have no idea how I'm going to bring it back either. Why didn't I think of that when I bought it you might ask, well, I totally didn't think of that! Ah well. Bulky hand luggage I guess.

This is some noisy house here. With Shane and Elyssa around, there's no such thing called peace. They're so super adorable in their own ways. =) they never fail to amaze me everyday.

Anyway, time to go to bed. Goodnight world.

Well, as you all know I am currently in Singapore. Staying in with the Wong Bruhn family. On my nephew's MacBook updating now and you will not believe this, my nephew is only 8 this year and he owns a Mac. Apparently when my cousin subscribed for the internet, they got the Mac for free. How amazing is that? I so wanna migrate here man. First time using a Mac. It's pretty cool. 

Was out this morning with the Wong Bruhn family. Went to Jurong East Swimming Arena. It's somehow like a smaller version of our Sunway Lagoon back in PJ. Entry fee is only 2 dollars for adults and 1 dollar for children. It was sunny here today so it was packed with people. Now we're all back at the house. That's pretty much how half my day was.

So many peep's birthday this week...

First and foremost, Germaine Ch'ng, a.k.a. germ germ, who turned 15 just 2 days ago. I'm so awfully sorry I totally forgot your birthday and I'm sorry I wasn't even present in school [yes because I was sick!]. Anyway, it has been an exciting year with you around. Gosh, all the lame jokes you make with Callie [I do contribute to them sometimes] , I can practically die man! Haha.. May you continue to grow in the Lord and be more like Him.Happy Belated 15th again!

I'm sick. Argh. So much for having fun after PMR. Sigh. I fell sick yesterday, and I have a really bad sorethroat now. Worst of all, I'm home bored to death. I really thought I could at least enjoy a day or two out with my friends before going to Singapore this weekend. No such luck. Have been sleeping so much that I think I'm actually SICK of sleeping. Now I have to take medication, hate them. Those antibiotics and all. Help someone!!

Footstool Players.

Footstool performed in SIB, KL today and they were awesome! This is actually my first theater performance I attended and I am glad that I showed up today. Great actors & actresses. They will be performing in KLPac next month and do not miss them!

PMR OVER!

WOOT!!

As you all know from the title above that I have indeed finished my Penilaian Menengah Rendah, PMR for short. If you have no idea what that is, it's just an exam all Malaysians who are 15 sit, not those who attend international schools mind you, only those in government and private schools.

Anyway, I'm through with any exams now. It's par-tay time! I'm really glad it's over. It's such a relief that I have like at least a few weeks of bumming and fun before mum will start nagging for me to be useful in the house =) oh well, better learn to savour every moment.

I have this weird feeling that I have grown up. Funny but true. I mean, I have finally finished 3 years of high school. That was quick. It felt like just last year, I was only 12. After this year, it's serious business, but I'm sure looking forward to it.

To all who know that I'm a nut, watch out.

p/s- I passed my theory exam this time, Thank God.

My papers were quite easy EXCEPT for my Malay, History and Chinese papers. What a relief that they're all done and over with [till the results are announced of course]. Tomorrow will be my last paper, Geography. Woot!!
